I quite often come across code where the ‘as’ operator is used without checking the result for null - it’s a very common mistake. Have a look at Rob Connery’s webcast on Mix09 - he actually does it *gasp*

Haha…I’ve been thinking the same thing about Football Manager recently! Hooked again after I swore I’d burn it. I know it takes away so much of my free time…but I MUST buy that new wonderkid!

Like I said earlier on Skype… goooood one. Short and poignant. That was powerfully communicated. And very timely… I’ve been struggling to stay focused on my goals the last few weeks.

What I didn’t say was research shows that 90% of people who write down their goals and paste them up somewhere achieve their goals. Conversely 90% of people that don’t write down their goals and put them up somewhere as a reminder don’t achieve them. HECTIC!!!
